Introduction to Wellbeing I

Introduction to Wellbeing I

During this e-learning unit you will learn about wellbeing in a way that is both evidence based and very practical. You will learn about the way stress impacts on your mental and physical wellbeing, and gain a deeper understanding of the chemical and hormonal changes that are affected by stressors you experience.

There are multiple choice questions at different stages during the unit, you need to answer each one correctly so you can move on to the next part. We also direct you to to a lovely animated film to watch and to some extra reading should you want to develop your knowledge further.

This is a short unit, so when you have successfully completed your programme, you will have acquired a notional 3 CPD hours and a certificate of completion for your portfolio.

You can undertake our Introduction to Wellbeing units as stand-alone learning opportunities. You will however be more informed if you now complete Unit II, which focuses on how to manage stressors and sustain wellbeing during stressful episodes. In Unit II you will learn about wellbeing theories and the ‘best self’ model, which helps you to identity where you are in terms of your wellbeing, and, offers ways in which to use your resilience to improve and manage your wellbeing.

Thank you for joining us… Enjoy!
