Introduction to Wellbeing I

During this course you will learn about wellbeing in a way that is both evidence based and very practical. You will learn about the way stress impacts on your mental and physical wellbeing, and gain a deeper understanding of the chemical and hormonal changes that are affected by the stressors you experience.

There are multiple choice questions at different stages during the course, you need to answer each one correctly so you can move on to the next part. We also direct you to to a lovely anaimated film to watch and to some extra reading should you want to develop your knowledge further.

This is a short course, so when you have successfully completed your programme, you will have acquired a notional 3 CPD hours and a certificate of completion for your portfolio. You will also be able to download a summary of the unit for you to refer to in the future.

You can undertake our Wellbeing courses as stand alone learning opportunities, you will however be more informed if you complete each course, doing so will take you to a natural progression where you will be supported to design your own courses in Wellbeing III. In course II you will learn about wellbeing theories and the ‘best self’ model, all of which helps you to identity where you are in terms of your wellbeing, and, offers ways in which to sustain your wellbeing despite facing challenging situations.
